The Maryland College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (MCOEM) is a component of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the nation's largest medical society dedicated to promoting the health of workers through preventive medicine, clinical care, research, and education.
 
MCOEM represents Maryland physicians and physician assistants working in the field of occupational and environmental medicine.  Activities include continuing medical education, networking, and addressing legislative issues that impact Maryland workers and the practice of occupational medicine.

What is Occupational and Environmental Medicine?

 

Occupational and Environmental Medicine is the medical specialty devoted to prevention and management of occupational and environmental injury, illness and disability, and promotion of health and productivity of workers, their families, and communities.  Learn more about the specialty here.
